Arts, Media & Marketing Career Academy Professional Development Grant Application

The AMM Professional Development Grant will help Academy members meet the costs associated with professional development opportunities, including conferences, networking events, and interviews that require travel. Students may request up to $250 in funding, per application. If you are unsure whether a particular opportunity is eligible for funding, contact Nadine Goldberg (ngoldb11@jhu.edu).

Rolling application. Applications will be reviewed by the Arts, Media & marketing Academy on an as needed basis. 

Students must be undergraduate members of the Arts, Media and marketing Academy in order to be eligible for funding. Students must plan to complete the professional development opportunity prior to their graduation date.

Applicants must complete the application form, submit a copy of their resume, and submit a personal statement (no more than (no more than 400 words) indicating: 

- What is your professional development opportunity? 

- What are the specific expenses that the funding will cover, or help cover? 

- Why is this funding needed? 

- How will this opportunity further your career development? 

Grant recipients will be asked to complete a reflection form within two weeks of the funded opportunity. Where possible, students will be expected to include a photo of their participation in the event.
