Arts, Media & Marketing Career Academy Summer Internship Grant Application

Program overview – 
The AMM Summer Internship Grant will fund the housing and living expenses (up to $3250) for students completing unpaid or underpaid summer internships in Arts, Media & Marketing roles. 


Timeline - 

1) Application cycle 1: 
- Apply by Friday, March 15, 5:00pm 
- Decisions by Friday, March 29

2) Application cycle 2: 
- Apply by Friday, April 19, 5:00pm
- Decisions by Friday, May 3 


Eligibility - 
1. Students must have already received an internship offer in order to apply for this grant. 
2. Students must be undergraduate members of the Arts, Media and Marketing Academy in order to be eligible for funding. (Join the AMM Academy in Handshake. Find out how here: https://studentaffairs.jhu.edu/careers/career-academies/). 3. Students must plan to complete the internship prior to their graduation date.


Application requirements -
1. Complete the form below.
2. Submit a copy of your resume.
3. Please submit a personal statement (no more than 400 words) that: (1) describes the internship you've been offered, (2) explains how you will use the internship to further your career development, and (3) indicates how much funding is requested. 
4. Submit a proposed personal budget for your internship experience. This worksheet (credit: Davidson University) is a great starting point: http://bit.ly/2DTR4Hv. Please explain how you arrived at each of the estimated costs in your budget.


Expectations of Grant Recipient -  
Grant recipients will be asked to complete a reflection form within two weeks of completing the internship. Where possible, students will be expected to include at least two publishable photos of their participation in the internship.
