Accompanist with Peabody Children's Chorus

Since its establishment in 1990, the Chorus has grown from 30 to over 450 singers in 9 rehearsing ensembles and 4 preparatory classes at 2 campuses. As well as touring in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, England and Hawaii, the chorus has performed with many local ensembles including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Choral Arts Society, Concert Artists of Baltimore and Lyric Opera.

The collaborative pianist will work closely with the Director and Assistant Directors of the Peabody Children's Chorus. Duties will include:

" playing for chorus rehearsals

" running sectional choral rehearsals

" assisting at chorus concerts

Specific Qualifications:

1) demonstrated success as a collaborative artist, coaching and playing for classical singers

2) strong sight-reading ability

3) available Monday and Thursday evenings, 5:00-9:30 pm
