Music Director/Organist @ Hamilton Park United Church of Christ
Hamilton Park United Church of Christ, Lancaster Township, PA, is a warm and friendly congregation, ready for growth and vitality, seeking to hire a Director of Music and an Organist. Both positions are permanent part-time, for a 9:30 AM Sunday service and Thursday evening choir rehearsal from 7 to 8:30 PM. We would consider employing 2 separate individuals, or just one individual, who is willing and has the necessary expertise to handle both positions. Successful candidate must be able to provide encouraging, enthusiastic, and supportive leadership for the church music ministry, which presently includes an adult choir and possible future development of a children’s choir and inter-generational choir. Applicant must have an appreciation for both contemporary and traditional church music and be proficient in the position of their choice. Bachelor of Music, or related degree, is preferred, along with prior leadership experience in music ministry.
