Job Description:
In search of a dynamic Virtual Music Instructor to serve our students. Help students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences which include playing of instruments and listening and performs other duties directly related to this job description.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Planning and preparing lessons in relation to individual student's needs
- Utilizing approved teaching materials and resources
- Teaching music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students
- Motivating students and encouraging progress
- Liaising with academic staff and parents
- Assessing students abilities, providing feedback and writing reports
- Updating student records electronically
- Assisting with advertising the music academy to recruit more students
Requirements:
- Must have a degree in music or enrolled in a music major.
- Must have at least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Experience with using Zoom/Skype.
- Must own a laptop/computer device and a secured internet connection.
- Evidence of knowledge of music curriculum and the ability to implement it
- Evidence of ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and other teammates.
- Evidence of excellent oral and written skills.
- Have a flexible availability in order to serve our students.
- Must pass background check.

Approximate Salary:
13.00 to 24.00 per hour
