TCAD SW / Modeling Engineer

Job Description: 

You will be working on a dynamic team which develops and applies software tools, scripts, and physical models to guide the development of Intel transistors and the process technologies which make them. Duties include creating software simulation flows, developing physical models, and analyzing the fundamental device/process issues encountered in cutting-edge technology development. You will collaborating directly with the experimental teams working in process integration and device research to define experiments and present recommendations that achieve the scaling path for industry-leading products.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum requirements to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly

Minimum Qualifications:
 
You must possess a Master’s degree (with a minimum of 1 year of research thesis work in the completion of the degree) or a Ph.D. degree (with a minimum of 3 years of research thesis work in the completion of the degree) in in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field of studies with experience in the following:

  • Research experience in semiconductor device physics and modeling; particular areas of interests include quantum and device transport, novel transistor architectures, and process flow physics
  • Scripting such as Python or equivalent.
  • Formal programming language such as C/C++
