Goucher/Peabody Intercampus Chamber Music Series
Seeking chamber music ensembles for three concerts in 2024 during the months of February, March, and April! Concerts will take place on Sunday afternoons on the Forum stage at Goucher College. Performers will be paid at the rate of $200 per performer (not to exceed 5 performers per concert). Performers are encouraged to directly engage the audience.
All performers must be currently enrolled Peabody students. This series is open to all musicians including traditional chamber ensembles as well as non-traditional ensembles, vocalists, and jazz groups.
Submission guidelines:
To apply, please submit the following materials as a PDF document via Handshake:
- Program- Propose a program of approximately 60 minutes of music. Please describe instrumentation, composers, and timings. Include a narrative of why this program is viable, interesting, and relevant to our audience (college students, nearby retirees, and surrounding Baltimore County community.)
- Bio- no more than 500 words. This should be a representation of the kind of concert experience the performer or group presents, not a resume.
- Pictures- Three pictures: Portrait, landscape, square, formats no more than 2 mb, no less than 800kb. Pictures don’t have to be professionally shot and edited but must fit formats. If taking pictures with a phone camera, it is recommended to shoot outside.
- Recordings- links to high quality demo recordings, less than 5 minutes of music. Video is acceptable as well.
